Your Edge.

PETG, Not PLA
PETG shrugs off heat that softens PLA sheaths. Leave it in a hot trunk in August, it does not care.
On Axe Throwing Lanes Across the Northeast
Project Bullseye is the official trophy partner of ConnectiCUT 2026, the WATL tournament at Cutting Edge Axe Throwing this August. Every first-place champion goes home with a custom Hype Chain.
Team customs like The Lesbian Laurens and Haus of Todd came off this printer, and so did the champion chain for Cutting Edge's Hatchet League Season 2. If you spot PB gear in the wild, tag @projectbullseye3d.

Good Questions
The stuff throwers actually ask at the booth.
Are these sheaths WATL and IATF legal?
Yes. Both sheath sizes are built to WATL and IATF regulation specs. The sheath comes off before you throw. It protects your edge between throws, in your bag, and on the drive to the venue.
Will it fit my axe?
The hatchet sheath fits any WATL or IATF regulation hatchet with a bit up to 4 inches. The big axe sheath covers bits up to 4 5/8 inches. If your axe is league legal, the sheath fits. IATF Premier League axes are the one exception, those are not covered.
What are they made of?
PETG, printed as a single piece. It is rigid, chemical resistant, and handles heat far better than the PLA used in most 3D printed sheaths. A hot car trunk in August will not soften it.
How does the magnetic closure work?
Two magnets sit inside the sheath body in a tuned polarity layout, sealed into the print itself. The sheath snaps onto the blade and stays put until you pull it off.
How long do custom orders take?
You get a digital mockup first, and nothing prints until you approve it. Once approved, your sheath ships within two weeks. Standard sheaths ship faster.
Do you do team, league, or venue orders?
Yes. Team sets, tournament trophy chains, and venue-branded gear at wholesale are all on the menu. Check the venue wholesale page or use the contact form below.
Is shipping really free?
Yes. Every order ships free, standard or custom, no minimum.
By Throwers,
for Throwers
I'm Michael. I throw league at Cutting Edge in Stamford and run Project Bullseye out of Milford. My axes came with the same generic velcro sheath everybody's does, so I made my own. Then about eleven more.
Every sheath is 3D printed to order in Milford, Connecticut. No mass production, no warehouse. Just one thrower making competition gear for the community.
